š Sequential Phonics that Build Confidence
A Good Start Reading uses sequential phonics-based lessons that follow a natural learning progression. Children start with short vowel sounds and gradually build up their reading ability with:
- Short āaā (as in cat), followed by

- Short āiā (sit),
- Short āoā (dog), and
- Short āuā (sun)
Each lesson of our books introduces a specific word family with easy-to-understand, fun lessons and complete instructions for parents included right inside. Thereās no need to plan or prepare anything extra. Just open the book and begin.
